Our recently updated 3 bedroom night heron cottage is only 250 yards to the beach access. It is also directly adjacent to the 21 acre Night Heron Park which includes the nature center, Kamp Kiawah, playing fields for soccer or football, volleyball court, lighted basketball court, and a large sandy play ground for young children. During the summer, there is frequently night time entertainment and activities in the park. Our cottage is comfortable and well-appointed. The living room and enclosed sun room have been updated with hardwood floors. The sun room, with a full size futon, gives extra room and has its own TV giving the children a place to themselves. The living room has a 27 inch TV with VCR/DVD player. Limited children’s games are supplied and a Nintendo 64 with selected games is available. There is a front deck with bench seating and a rear deck, with tropical woods view, that is accessible from the master bed room and sunroom.

The master bed room has a king size bed, private bath, and television. The front and back bedrooms have twin beds and share a bathroom. The kitchen with tile floor has generous supplies for cooking. Unlike villas and condos, there is covered parking beneath the unit with ample room for three cars. We provide a list of amenity phone numbers including restaurants, shopping and golf courses to help you plan your vacation. Bike and beach chair rental is available. There are 4 golf courses on the island and 1 located immediately off of the island available for your play. Enjoy the brand-new, Freshfields Village, shopping area located two miles from the security gate for your food and entertainment. The comfortable feel of the cottage will make you feel at home. The close access to both the beach and night heron park activities is a bonus. The quiet cul-de-sac provides greater safety for children. Bike paths and jogging trails are abundant.

Amenities:: Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, electric-top range, refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, disposal, coffee-maker, blender, electric can opener, toaster, cookware, dinnerware and utensils, stacked washer & dryer, vacuum cleaner, all linens except beach towels, ironing board & iron, 1 phone and 1 cordless phone, air conditioning/heat, 3 TVs with expanded basic service, 1 DVD/VCR, wet bar in living room, ceiling fans, hardwood floors in great room and sun room. Outside shower (not enclosed) and 2 beach chairs are available. Covered parking beneath the unit with room for 3 cars. Departure cleaning included for stays of 5 or more days. No pets. No smoking permitted.

Wonderful week in paradise and decorator's dream!

We had an awesome stay at this cottage. A little more costly than others like it but you get the added bonus of a lovely sun room on the back that is wonderful for a quiet morning respite or a late night movie that won't disturb the early to bedders. The decor is tastefully and beautifully done! Only a five minute bike ride or 10 minute walk to the beach. You will need to bring your own beach chairs and bringing or renting a bike on the Island is a must-loaded with bike trails!

This is a wonderful house! A decorator's dream. We loved the sunroom. The location is centrally located to all activities on the island. We have been coming to Kiawah for 12 years and this house is one of the best houses we have stayed in. We would defintely rent this house again!

A fabulous island villa which was perfect for our family. The accomodations and layout were great and the sun porch was wonderful for sitting with the paper and a morning cup of coffee. We were also pleasantly surprised at all of the activities still available in the off season for children and adults alike. We will definitely be back!

This was the most awesome vacation we have had. Kiawah Island was great and our cottage was better than we expected. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone! We will be coming back every year!
