About Ken

A little about myself, My Name is Ken I am originally from Upstate New York now live in Central Florida . It has been a dream of mine for many years to own a cabin in The Great Smoky Mountains . I finally have got the opportunity to do so and would love to share my beautiful cabin named (Straight From The Heart) with you. I chose Pigeon Forge because of it's easy access to so many things to do. And what's even better the cabin is only about 2 1/2 miles from the main Parkway . I hope you enjoy the cabin as much as I do. It is cozy and unique in every way you can imagine . The cabin is very clean ! Come relax and enjoy..It is 'Straight From My Heart ' to Yours.

Last time I was here was in 1988 And fell in love with this area back then . I always have set my goals to own a cabin here. The area still has all the beauty of nature and all the fun of a tourist area. Best of both worlds ! This cabin is very special to me and would love to share My Special Place with You.

Totally enjoyed our SECOND 10 day stay!!!

After spending our second 10 day vacation in this wonderful cabin, all I can say is that it is the best cabin we have ever rented in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area!! The feeling of being far removed from everything, but just a few minutes from anything & everything you could possibly want.

The cabin is so clean and well maintained! Even the hot tub....I am hesistant about most hot tubs at rentals, but not this one!! It is fantastic!!

We love listening & even seeing the people go by on the zip lines. We hear that tell tale sound and say to each other "there goes another one"!! :-) Saw some cows grazing this time and even heard what sounded like donkeys a couple of mornings.

This cabin is a top recommendation for us!! Thanks again Ken!!!

Family spring break getaway

We had a wonderful trip at the cabin. Everything we found was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our time with our family. The boys loved the pool table and hot tub. We spent time hiking, shopping, decorating Easter Eggs and cookies. The zipline in the backyard was a little noisy for the boys afternoon naps but got used to that. We also had quite a few critters stay with us but expected in a log cabin I assume. The cabin was aquipped with everything we needed. Thanks for the homey feel away from home.

We stayed in the cabin for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! It was relaxing, quiet and had all the ammendities we needed to stay in and enjoy some time with family. We used the grill, hot tub and enjoyed cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. From the back deck we could watch the Zip Lines! This cabin was perfect for our family and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting.

Perfect getaway!

My husband and I needed a last minute getaway and Straight From the Heart was the answer! Ken was so accommodating and easy to work with! The cabin was just beautiful! I have stayed in several cabins in Gatlinburg and Straight From the Heart is my favorite! Loved not having to check in seperatly at another location. Super easy!

Much needed rest!

My husband and I try to make it to East TN once a year in October for some well deserved R & R. We found this cabin at the last minute. We had never stayed in
a cabin resort, but the pictures of the cabin were nice and the price was right. Ken, the owner was easy to deal with and very helpful with all my questions.
We loved the fact you checked in directly at the cabin, no extra stops. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. I would like to remind Ken to address the dresser issue in the bedroom it is most definitely needed. We loved staying in and cooking, The kitchen is well supplied, but I feel an extra skillet would be very useful. I want to add that although the cabin is in a resort, the back deck is very private and you are able to enjoy the hot tub in total privacy. We enjoyed our stay, We found the location convenient, and would recommend this cabin.
