Casa Tres Regalos at La Puntilla

We enjoyed our stay at Tres Regalos. It was a good choice for our family as far as layout & location. We loved the ceilings, they were just beautiful! The pool off the deck was great to have as well as the beach was also handy with the kids.
It is stated in the desciption that it is completely fenced. It is not!
After a week of cleaning the kitchen counters, they were not to our standards, we felt a bit better on cleanliness. I had the maid clean the stove & oven the second week. All cupboards still need a good cleaning inside & out.
We found dead gekos & other bugs in the kitchen cupboards & a cockroach in the master bathroom. We know this is sometimes normal in Mexico.
The pool was crystal clear everyday, And the yard was well maintained.
The biggest thing was the lack of kitchen items which we kept track of & gave the list to Amy & to our surprise was bought the following day after contact with the owner. Funny we had to go a whole week without. Why was this not done before we arrived!
Amy & Bill Welch were great. They even picked up supper for us while they were out & we paid them when they delivered it on the night we arrived. Really appreciated that. She even brought a few staples to get us through a day or two.
The Propety manager, Cesar, needs to be replaced. He is useless. He does not understand english & does not answer emails. We have dealt with property managers in Mexico before & have never had this problem.
We took in the Zoo at Mismaloya. Quite a large interesting complex. But the Website has not been updated for a number of years. I think they said 3 yrs. So the prices do not agree with any advertisements.
All in all it was a good 2 week holiday with the family. We have been to the area many times before so knew what was there. It was nice being away from Bucerias at Carnival time but did miss the closeness of it at times.
The guys really enjoyed the fish market in La Cruz on the Sunday.
Bus service is still great in the area. Cheap & Often!! Our grandson called them the little busses.
