Elegantly Rustic Lodge on the River: Sleeps 14. 4 Bdrms/3 Full Baths, 2 1/2 Baths/2 Levels. Beds= 1 K, 6 Doubles.

Your own private Idaho awaits at this elegant riverside lodge! Imagine yourself in this wonderful lodgepole custom home with room for everyone. The lower level has access to the beautiful grounds surrounding the lodge with a fishing pond with canoe and the south fork of the Payette river for kayaking, white water rafting, floating or just playing in the water. During the winter, you're just minutes (you can walk) to the exciting lift operated snow tubing hill! After a busy day relax in the hot tub with awesome views of the mountains and later gather around the fire pit with friends and family! A half bath and comfortable social area in front of the riverrock fireplace complete the scene. The upper level has a plush master suite with a king bed, sitting area with flat screen TV, two-person jacuzzi tub, walk in stone shower with dual heads and a balcony with views of the surrounding mountains. A second private bedroom has a double bed with window seat with views to the river. The main living area of the lodge has a gourmet kitchen, counter and dining area, with the main living area with flat screen TV and another fireplace. Everyone can enjoy the fabulous main bath with walk-in dual showerheads. On the other end of the lodge is the family suite! This suite has a private bedroom with a double and views of the pond. The main suite area has a full bath with antique clawfoot tub/shower and two double beds. In the loft overlooking the suite are two full beds. The family suite has a balcony overlooking the grounds with views of the river. For equestrians, bring your own horses and corral them in the large arena next to the lodge. Go for fantastic rides in the Idaho mountains. Make unforgettable memories. Enjoy otters, beavers, eagles, elk and deer as well as access to some of the best flyfishing and river activities in Idaho! Riverside Lodge is a beautiful property with quirks. Ground level is a stable for 6 horses. Upstairs has 4 bedrooms, one of which has 4 double beds (two are in a loft). It will hold 8 people who don't care about privacy. The other 3 have one bed (king, queen or double). Three porches had no furniture on them and were very narrow. Interior lighting was marginal, especially in the kitchen. The pots and pans were awful. Very spacious place, but strangely laid out. I never saw anyone from Cabin Keepers, as keys were in a drop box for arrival and departure.

The Riverside Lodge and Riverside Park were the perfect setting for our family reunion. The cabins are lovely and using both of them allowed us plenty of space for everyone. The grounds are beautiful - we canoed on the pond, swam in the river, gathered around the fire pit in the evenings, used the hot tub and played soccer, bocce ball and volleyball. Having 2 dishwashers and 2 ovens in the lodge made cooking and clean up a breeze. I would heartily recommend Idaho Cabin Keepers and the Riverside Park and Lodge to anyone looking for a place to stay in Garden Valley.

Everything was perfect. Worth every penny. Hard to keep this out, but the black ants inside were a nuissance. Clear them out and the place is a dream!

Manager responded on 7/27/2012:
We treat our properties twice a year for pest control and when needed; however, up here in the mountains, sometimes the local inhabitants just can't resist joining you on your vacation. Especially when it is extremely hot, the little ants like to come into the cool house and look for water.

We went up with a youth group and camping will never be the same! The cabin was clean & accommodated our large group beautifully! A great location, great hiking, great access to the river!!
