Modern Townhome Near Downtown

This Townhome turned out to be more than we expected from the moment we pulled up in the driveway. It had absolutely everything...and more. The downstairs was the perfect family area. You could be working in the kitchen and be able to talk to those relaxing in the living room or eating in the dining area. The chef's kitchen was modern and gleaming with like-new stainless steel appliances. It was perfect for my husband who considers himself a gourmet cook. The one thing he likes more than cooking is watching football. He could prepare our meals and watch football on the beautiful 55" TV at the same time. The master bedroom suite was gorgeous. The master bath was unique. The photos do not show the true beauty of the fixtures, the tiled shower, other tiled walls and the tiled floor. Overall, the decorating throughout completed this beautiful and comfortable Townhome.

Our trip to Austin was to meet our children and grandchildren in Austin for the University of Texas v. West Virginia University football game. This Townhome
met and exceeded our ability to be together. Those without tickets to the game were able to watch it on the 55" TV. Our grandson noticed the interesting one-truck fire station on a nearby corner and immediately wanted to visit. The firemen on duty were very nice and gave our grandson and daughter-in-laws a tour. The younger members of our family enjoyed walking and jogging in the neighborhood and along Town Lake. We frequented the Texas Cuban Food Trailer which was within walking distance. We did take an extra car and park it early in the area of Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium so that we could quickly exit after the game.
Friends took the shuttle from the parking area and did just as well exiting, as it was a record crowd (over 100,000) as nothing moved quickly after the game.
We also recommend the Magnolia Cafe which we visited on Monday morning before leaving Austin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Austin and will definitely return again to enjoy this beautiful Townhome. The listing had everything promised and much more. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Austin, including those visiting their students at UT, those on a get-away weekend, those interested in visting downtown shops and entertainment, and those visiting for UT Football Games. We would recommend a car, as there are so many things to experience in the Austin area.
