Cozy condo in the forest, St Francis of the Woods Condominiums on Emerald Bay Road just one mile to the lake. On the first floor with 1 bedroom and comfy queen size bed. The bathroom with full tub was recently remodeled and the unit has all the amenities of home inducing a 42' LCD flat screen TV, DVD & media player, phone service, Wi-Fi, washer dryer inside as well as a coin operated laundry room for larger loads, dishwasher and more.

Just minutes to the Lake and Camp Richardson Lake Resort and a short drive to the Downtown Heavenly Village for shopping, people watching and Skiing/Snowboarding. About a 15 minute drive to Sierra At Tahoe. From the living room or kitchen windows you can enjoy forest views- here you are sure to enjoy your getaway. The charming unit is complete with modern furnishings, sleeps up to 6- with linens included. There is also walking access to hiking and biking trails where the air smells of honey and sweet pine. In the winter, no need for shovels, it is cleared every 4' of snowfall. So just kick back with a Kaoke Coffee and enjoy OR if you want to go out, the condo is a stone’s throw to a local coffee shop with internet with computer, pubs and dining.

This is a great deal at $75-$150 a night depending on time of year and number of guests. Multiple night discounts may be available. A refundable security deposit is also required.

A three night minimum is preferred.

About Adrienne Lostaunau

We are retired now but when we purchased this condo our children were avid snowboarders and we lived in Sacramento where it was a quick drive to Tahoe. As things changed we rented the unit out on a long term basis but that meant that we did not have access to it for years at a time. Now that we will be having more time to enjoy it ourselves we feel it is time to use it as a vacation rental so we also can visit beautiful South Lake Tahoe ourselves from time to time! However we would like to share it with others too.

Away from the congestion of state line, St. Francis of the Woods Condominium provides a serene setting to decompress from daily stressors of modern life. Yet it is close to everything with a Trolley stop right in front. To me it is a healing place to go for revitalization and rejuvenation. To the younger generation, it is a great place for an adrenalin rush from their sports!

Great little getaway for two in prime location!

My husband and I wanted a little get-a-way weekend in Tahoe and found this great unit. It looks as described in the pictures (though the living room was staged differently) and everything worked out as planned. I'm not sure how six could sleep here with only the 1 queen bed and couches but I guess it can get cozy. There was some trouble understanding the assigned parking space by the pool as the numbers were all worn away or covered in snow so we just used the covered space. We were able to cook dinners and enjoy the place while also finding time to enjoy Tahoe (very close to Heavenly as described). The only downside may be for someone who is very tall...the shower head seemed less than 5' tall and the bed has a footboard but lucky for us we're short. Thanks for the great stay!
