This place was amazing and so peacefully tucked away on that mountain. We will for sure return
The cabin is immaculately kept and well decorated. It was nice to have WiFi in the middle of the woods to keep up with life back home. We felt like we had the mountains all to ourselves. The property in the development is open to walk around and enjoy the Appalachian environment. Hot Springs and Marshall are quaint small mountain towns nearby where you can spend a day or two. Take a camera for the drive on Hwy 209 or if you go to Asheville, take Hwy 63 and get more photos of mountain scenery.
This cabin is beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean and well-maintained. The lot is beautiful and the view from the front porch is beautiful. We enjoyed the sound of the water flowing in the creek below. We loved how the cabin was secluded. The location of the cabin was perfect. We will be back for another visit and will recommend this cabin to others.
We married on Max Patch Mountain on Saturday, June 22, 2013 and stayed at Falling Waters over the weekend. We absolutely LOVE this cabin. The scenery outside, the sound of rushing water, the amenities of the cabin, the exquisite decor, all lended to the blissful feeling of being newlyweds. The staff was accommodating and professional when we had difficuty obtaining the correct code to obtain the key. We would not let that deter us from returning. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a classy cabin away from any town.
The pictures of Falling Waters cabin do not do it justice! The cabin is beautiful and has everything you may need. The huge wrap around porch is great as well as the large fireplace. The setting is beautiful, and there is a creek that runs past the cabin and down the mountain. The owner was wonderful! We had a bit of snow during the last night of our stay and were a bit nervous about driving down the mountain first thing in the morning to get out before check out time, so we called the owner, and he was very nice and said we could stay as long as we needed to until we felt comfortable driving. We will definitely be back!
