This cottage includes all towels and linens; you supply the paper products. The kitchen has dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, microwave oven, electric range and refrigerator, dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer. The living area has a TV with DVD player and a CD player/radio as well as a fireplace. Out on the porch you will find a table that sits four and a gas grill.
The cottage is located on the shores of Sturgeon Bay, and has 300 feet of private beach. You can spend your day walking the beach, picking up beautiful glacial stones, or swim, kayak and play on the beach. There are a number of hiking trails located in the area if you are interested in a secluded walk in the woods.
Biking the back roads and trails is another popular pastime. In the fall, there is hunting, fishing, and beautiful foliage.
Cross Village is an historic Indian village located on the shores of Lake Michigan, at the end of the famous M119 hwy 'Tunnel of Trees' scenic drive. Legs Inn Bar and restaurant is a must see while in town, as it is on the national register of historic places. It is famous for its Polish cuisine and fantastic views of the Lake, as well as the unique drift wood sculptures that make up the interior design. Harbor Springs, a quaint and charming town, is 20 miles South, and has many wonderful shops and restaurants. Mackinaw City is 20 minutes to the north, and there you can catch the ferry boat to Mackinac Island, home of the world famous Grand Hotel.
There you can rent bikes and tour the island (no automobiles allowed), hire a horse and buggy for a tour or just wander the streets and indulge in delicious fudge, which the town is famous for!
