You're 10 minutes by car to Lake Michigan and a five-minute walk takes you to downtown Whitehall or Montague, where you’ll find all kinds of shops, a grocery, and a glorious farmer’s market from May through October. We’re also just across the street from the Hart-Montague Bike Trail. This largely undiscovered region offers everything from cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and antique shopping to miles of some of the most beautiful sugar-sand beaches in the country—as spectacular in the winter as they are in summer. Fishermen routinely catch their limit of bass, walleye, trout and salmon in the local waters, and there’s a bait shop right next door. Craft shows, festivals and free weekly concerts at the band shell round out the summer offerings. And if you’re ready for a thrill, Michigan Adventure Amusement and Water Park is just 15 minutes away and the Water Park at JJ Resort is also 15 minutes away.

This cottage is available to rent this Fall/Winter: We provide everthing (soap, paper towels, tp, dish soap)! No security deposit and no extra cleaning fees! Amenities: Fireplace in the enclosed porch, washer/dryer, full kitchen, all new linens, cable television, window air conditioner. Master bedroom has king size bed and 2nd bedroom has queen size bed. Only need to bring your beach towels! Gas grills, fire pit and picnic area are available for your use. Cottage is within walking distance to downtown Whitehall, City Park, bike path and Howmett Playhouse.

Swimming beach within driving distance. Local attractions include: Double JJ Ranch, Howmet Theater, bike path, Michgan's Adventure (theme park),antique shops, farmer's market, fishing, canoeing, movie theater, White River lighthouse, world's largest weathervane.
