Why Laura Carleton chose Treasure Cay
My parents purchased a condominium at Mariners Cove in the early 1970's and my family has enjoyed vacationing there ever since. In 1997, we purchased a second unit, so that our growing family would be able to enjoy vacations together. We've had many memorable vacations, and the highlights are the many boating adventures we've enjoyed, exploring the charming Out Islands of Abaco, snorkeling, fishing, beach-combing and picnicking. Abaco remains a relatively-undeveloped, serene and strikingly beautiful island retreat, perfect for a relaxing get-away or a vacation with friends and family.
What makes this house unique
The front of our unit looks out over Treasure Cay Marina, and one of our favorite pastimes is watching the yachts, sailors and fishermen come and go and spotting the occasional dolphin that swims through the marina. Morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the balcony are a special treat! A short walk from our back door is Treasure Cay Beach where the beautiful clear water of the Sea of Abaco beckons, after a lunch of Conch Fritters and Goombay Smashes at the Coco Bar. A benefit of our marina location is easy access to ferry boats that take passengers on day trips to island destinations.
