The price includes bed linen and towels which are provided in the apartment. End of stay cleaning is also included (except the kitchen area and washing up) as well as 2 discloths and 1 x cleaning kit as well as a television. Cots and highchairs are available from reception (subject to availability and payable) and must be reserved at the time of booking. Free outdoor car parking is available (subject to availabillity). Please note that the descriptions are for indication only and may vary slightly from the actual apartments in resort. Also please also note that some of the apartments on higher floors may be situated under the eaves and may be have low ceiling heights.
Alpe d’Huez :
Has an enviable reputation as a top quality resort which enjoys excellent snow and weather conditions in the dramatic scenery of the Oisans valley. It has extensive facilities on and off the skopes and there are a great deal of loyal holiday makers who return year after year. The skiing is wide and varied for advanced skiers and intermediates and the nursery runs are convenient and confidence building. For non skiers there is a large outdoor swimming pool and indoor pool, a fully equipped sports centre with tennis and squash courts, aerobics, table tennis, golf and many other activities. Alpe D'Huez has more than 40 restaurants, numerous bars and nightclubs, which means that apres ski has a reputation to compete with the skiing.
Getting there : :
By Air: Lyon or Grenoble Airport - approx. 2hrs 30mins transfer. By Train: Grenoble Station - Bus or taxi to resort (63km away). By Car: Autoroute to Grenoble. A48 exit (Oisans resorts) to Bourg D'Oisans. Follow signs.
Ski:
Situated in Les Grandes Rousses ski area with its 240km of slopes there is something suitable for every ski/board level. For the advanced skier there is 'La Sarenne' which claims to be the world'slongest black run at 16km and also the intimidating 'Le Tunnel'. For intermediates there are plenty of challenging runs, whilst the nursery runs are central to the resort and are dedicated to beginners. The 115 pistes comprise 39 green, 32 blue, 28 red and 16 black.
