Lovely multi-level home offers incredible access to Timberline's Salamander Trail. Bear's Den has ample space for both gathering and separating. Perfect for families with teens and tweens!

Zoologists report that instinctively BEARS create a DEN to keep them warm during the coldest of months. These clever mammals gather leaves, pine cones to build a warm, comfortable home. the sticks and pine 3-story home with family room, ping pong, cable TV and WIFI is perhaps the perfect DEN. Families will love the open kitchen, dining room and living room for gathering after a busy day. Bears Den is so close to the Salamander Trail that happy skiers will find it the perfect pit stop for healthy meals and warm feet. Year-round Bear's Den offers clean, comfortable, affordable lodging in a mountain setting. The gang will love the downstairs family room,the multiple TV's and the outdoor hot tub. Hikers and bikers will love the location for all of the same reasons! Winter visitors need to plan 4 or all wheel drive for access.

Rating Details:
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was more than happy with the location.
The vacation rental was clean.
The property manager was more than helpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Reviewer Comments:
We had a great time in the mountains with 3 our three generations of family. We were pleased to find a 1st floor room for those who could not climb steps as the staircases were very steep. Hot tub was family friendly...not very hot which was okay for us. Very stuffy in mid summer and we were never able to get that cool evening air to circulate thru the house. A few window fans would have made a HUGE difference given the fact that there was no AC. Unit was comfortable but obviously gets hard usage during the year and needs some repairs. We would come again but probably look for a unit that has AC and in better repair. We loved being by the chair lift!!
