Mr. Webster tells us that a den is a room, often secluded and designed to provide a comfortable and informal atmosphere for conversation, reading and writing. Imagine that perfect setting plus two bedrooms and a Jacuzzi tub! Welcome to The Den.

When I think back to my childhood home, I can say with certainty that my favorite room was the den. It wasn’t a big space, but every inch of it contained the most interesting relics. Books, pictures, family heirlooms and the most comfy furniture were all there to nestle in. With that said, The Den is the perfect name for this ultra comfortable and incredibly convenient two bedroom townhome. Interesting and tasteful décor complimented with antiques will tempt you to relax and retreat inside, but with all of the available onsite amenities and scenery, nature will be calling you to step outside and play. Year-round enjoy easy access to everything Canaan Valley has to offer. Summer visitors will love the outdoor pool, picnic pavilion and volleyball facility. In winter it is a quick drive to the slopes, tube park or ice skating rink. Any time of year, enjoy free WIFI, cable TV and long distance calling. We invite you to visit Canaan and settle into The Den.

We keep coming back because the house offers everything we want and need. Love the convenience to slopes and Davis. Would like instructions for upstairs master DVD player and a cheese grater, if I had to make a wish list.

We loved our stay! After skiing, snow shoeing, & sledding it was nice to come back to this cozy villa and warm up by the fire. Thanks for the ample supply of firewood. If you like Mexican food, try Hellbender's Burritos.
