Tastefully decorated this property offers three comfortable bedrooms plus a loft with a sleep sofa. Winter will find you taking the short walk to Timberline's Winterset Trail. After some time on the slopes you and the gang will want to warm up by the fireplace before preparing a meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. Relax in the private hot tub or enjoy the quiet location with a book or movie. Free WIFI is orovided for every rental. Spring, summer and fall guests will enjoy the onsite tennis court and pond, and the short walk to the local horseback riding stables. Located in Woods End, Moose Lodge is just on the edge of the National Wildlife Refuge. Hikers and cross country skiers will love the location! Easy year round access adds to the appeal. We had a great time. We rented 5houses for an alpine ski race. Had everything we needed. And they were all close by. Need to have more TP in the house.

It was a great stay with everyone being so helpful about any and all my needs. I would recommend making sure outside pole lamp being in working order for anyone using the ramp at night. Also if is possible to have a key for sliding door to ramp that would be great. I hope to rent this house again next year for possibly longer.

The A/C did not work, it did not keep the bottom floors cool and the ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom with queen bed was not working properly – making weird noise & spinning slow no matter what speed you put it on –

Canaan Valley is a beautiful spot in Almost Heaven, WV. We have stayed in the Woods End development 4 or 5 times over the last several years because I like the floor plan of the units. Moose Lodge was a very nice unit--well equipped, clean and nicely decorated. I'm certain everyone who stays there really enjoys it.
