Photos and Description of the Dauphin Island vacation house rental Beautiful 3 BR/2BA Home Directly on the Mississippi Sound. 1 minute to the Beach

Our unique A Frame has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. You can fish off the dock or the boardwalk and catch speckled trout, white trout, flounder, and grouper. The home sits directly on the Mississippi Sound and is only 1 minute to the beach. Or if you prefer just sit on the deck and watch the dolphins swim and play in the sound. The first floor consists of living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom and full size bath. French doors open off the living room area to the back deck with steps leading down to the dock. The second level has a bedroom also with French doors leading out to the upper deck that gives you a panoramic view of the sound. The third bedroom has two twin size beds. Both of the these bedrooms share the upstairs bath. Fully equipped kitchen has dinnerware & silverware to serve 12. This home has been recently redecorated and is super clean. We named our place Now or Never.

Just remember life is short...it's Now or Never! Amenities: Dishwasher, 2 Cable TV's, DVD, Washer & Dryer, Microwave, Coffeemaker, Toaster, Mixer, Iron, plenty of cooking utensils, and linens. Activities: Dauphin Island is a great place for a vacation with kids. The island is only 14 miles long and 4 miles wide. 1,300 full time residents enjoy the stress free life without traffic lights, noise and pollution. You can bike ride for miles on the flat bike paths. Visit the Sea Lab & Estuarium. The Estuarium is the public aquarium of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. Audubon Bird Sanctuary has 160 acres of beautiful woodlands, it is a nationally known migration route for bids and even butterflies. Each September thousands of hummingbirds stop on their way to South America. And the main attraction for so many are the beautiful white sand beaches with sparkling seashells. Fishing is also high on the list of with charter fishing services from a few hours to several days.

You can enjoy excellent deep water fishing on the Dauphin Island Fishing Pier that is 850 feet long. Take the kids on a Ferry Ride across Mobile Bay to Fort Morgan. Visit Historic Fort Gaines, which is the site of the famous Battle of Mobile Bay. Area: Dauphin Island is 3 miles off the coast of Alabama, 33 miles from Mobile and 120 east of New Orleans. If you like to gamble, Biloxi and Gulfport, Mississippi are only 2 hours away.

What a great little house and RIGHT ON THE WATER! Plenty of room for two couples and the odd kid or two. Clean as a pin and right in the middle of everything on the island. Very relaxing - morning walks on the beach and evenings sitting on the deck watching the sun go down. Sad when we had to leave. Deposit was promptly refunded. Definately be going back next year!

My husband and I just wanted to thank you for sharing your Dauphin Island home "Now or Never". Everything about it was perfect. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and hated to leave. Your attention to detail and all the helpful local information made it even better. We would highly recommend this to anyone who loves to relax and sit by the water and watch the seagulls and pelicans and even dolphins. We also enjoyed plenty of fishing off the private dock. We took about a gazillion pictures while we were there and even got to see "Princess" up close. The sunsets were spectacular and the peacefulness of the island can be felt in the air. Your home was decorated so tastefully with every amenity possible. I actually kissed the door goodbye when we left and pray another visit is in the near future. Again, our sincere thanks for everything. I would have loved to have put a review in for 10 Stars because it was that good. We have stayed at several rentals in the past but this will be our only one in the future.

If you are looking for serenity, and enjoy beautiful sunsets with dolphin watching included then just pause for a moment on the back deck for an unobstructed view. Windows & the front deck capture the morning sunrises. Boat & Fishing dock is just waiting to share some mariner fun. My teenage son set up his hammock & napped in the comfort of the shade and breeze under the house; where you can also have a picnic. The house is clean & the neighborhood is beautiful. Pictures can not do this place justice. The property is centrally located on the Island which makes trips to the store, restaurants, and the beach convenient. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, and provides activities for all ages. The owner is wonderful and is just as pleasant as this place. I did more than recommend this to a friend; I took one with me, and our kids, and I am so glad that we now have all these pleasurable memories to share. Here's wishing you a vacation as wonderful as ours, and remember it truly is Now or Never...

This is a really nice place with a great location and view . If you like a super beach with room for long walks, then Dauphin Island is for you. Owner was very easy to work with and returned deposit very quickly. We received it by the time we got back home. House was well kept and had nice assortment of supplies to get you started. Would visit again,

Quiet, clean and very comfortble. Great for fishing with the private dock. Short walk to the beach. Beautiful sunsets from either of the decks or the dock. Planning on a return visit. Great for Honeymooners!
