West Bay Beach, Roatan, Beautiful Beachfront Condo

If you want a vacation getaway that has all the comforts of home, this is it! The location of this unit on the resort is absolutely ideal as it is halfway between the beach and the restaurant. It's a ground level unit with a superb patio that has access that makes coming and going with your gear so much easier. The description and photos are exactly what you get and so much more!
The owner made the process of booking and arranging transport effortless. He was always checking in to see if there was anything we needed and offered his services throughout the stay. .
The beach is less than a minute away from the unit and the water is crystal clear and pristine. The snorkeling right off the beach is breathtaking and if you don't snorkel, there is an area down the beach that you can see fish in knee deep water.
We purchased the meal plan for the week and were never disappointed. The buffet offers fewer dishes than most but every single dish served was excellent.
I would highly recommend making a trip to Gumbalimba Preservation Park and checking out the monkeys; one of the best experiences of our lives! It's a 5 minute drive away and worth every penny

This condo is in the perfect spot! Not too close to the bar, so when they are doing movie night or having any kind of event, you aren't affected by the noise or crowd. Not too far from the beach and right in center of the pool, on the ground floor, you don't have to walk far, or climb stairs, to grab a drink or something you forgot. You just walk out your door to the perfect area to hang out by the pool. Snorkeling is great! Especially if you walk down by the rock wall to the left, but even just straight out from the hotel, there are corals and fish. They have an inflated play-land in front, left of the complex for kids. It seemed fun! My kids would have loved it when they were little - with slides, jungle gyms, bouncies, etc., all floating in the shallow water. There are lots of food choices, walking along the beach, so you don't really have to go into West End much, but to get to town you can take an inexpensive water taxi from the dock, right in front of the complex. The condo itself was perfect, clean, beautiful, with all the amenities you would need. There is everything you need to cook, which we did for breakfast and lunch, allowing ourselves dinner as our splurge each day. Both rooms and bathrooms are great. Beds were very comfortable, as well as the pillows. There is a safe in each room for valuables. It is very tropical, hot and humid, which is perfect for hanging out at the beach or pool, and using a little air conditioning allows you to make it optimally comfortable, along with the ceiling fans for sleeping! We didn't have many problems with bugs, maybe a few bites, but not bad at all for the tropics. We did put on a layer of oil before going out, especially on our legs, to keep off sand fleas, which we had read about, and it seemed to work fine! Apparently, any oil will work. We never used deet, just the oil and some herbal spray and it seemed to work just fine. All in all, it was the perfect place to hang out and relax in luxury, with the option of going out to experience some of the island's Caribbean culture and charm, if you want. Everything on the island is laid back and slow. It took us a few days to get accustomed to the warm, balmy, much slower pace, but once we did, we relaxed like we hadn't in years! Infinity Bay on Roatan is a great vacation spot! Great place to get away from it all, and truly be on holiday, without a care in the world. This unit is one of the best locations in the complex and highly recommended!
