Photos and Description of the Kihei vacation condo rental
Unit 5-215 is a 1 Bd 2 Bath beautifully decorated unit with a fully equipped kitchen, room AC in the living room and the bedroom, ceiling fans throughout, high speed internet, Cable TV/DVD and has one of the best locations in the complex.

This is a beautiful unit that has a great location with a view of the pool and looks through the central courtyard garden area of the complex. Because of the special wall murals and decorative accents it is called “The Bamboo Retreat". It is a spacious condo with a queen size bed in the master bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and two bathrooms.

It is fully equipped for all your needs and more. The kitchen has full size appliances and there is a washer/dryer inside the unit. It is one of the few units at Kamaole Sands that has AC in the bedroom as well as the living room. The owners take pride in their unit and work frequently and hard on keeping it maintained.

On Wednesday afternoons you can enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian music from the free Mai Tai party at the pool on your private lanai or join the other guests in the pool area for a really special get together.

Reviewer Comments:
People below us smoked and we were unable to sit on the Lanai due to that. It took about 3 days before security was able to put an end to it. We would recommend that everyone who checks in is told about the no-smoking policy. It certainly wasn't mentioned when we checked in. Otherwise we really enjoyed the view from this condo and liked it being in the back and so quiet. The facility has such beautiful gardens which we so enjoyed walking through when coming from the beach.
Because the showers are outside the coded door into the pool it is extremely difficult to take a shower before entering the pool. Except for ourselves we saw hardly anyone take a shower before entering the pool or hot-tub. This to us is very unsanitary and needs to be fixed for health reasons, especially in this day and age of world wide viruses. A shower in the bathrooms or close to the pool would be very benefiscial. The Wed free drink & singing was a nice touch.

Manager responded on 11/22/2010:
When the guests check in they are given the house rules that forbid smoking in or near the unit. They are also given a map of the complex showing the designated smoking areas. There are also stickers on the sliding doors regarding the smoking policy.
