I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was more than happy with the location.
The vacation rental was spotless.
The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
Kamalole Sands is a great property, ideally situated, with excellent amenities. I have zero complaints about the suite we booked: #6-108. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of gear (snorkels and fins, sun umbrella, etc.) to enhance our stay both on and off the property. Kathy, the booking agent from Coldwell Banker created some unnecessary hassle and stress for us on check-out day. Checkout was at 11 am and we dutifully returned from a beach jaunt, bags already packed in the condo, to find that the code on the keypad had been automatically reset: we were locked out and yet, by our watches, it was only 11:04 a.m. There was zero grace period. We spent the next two hours, along with on-site Kamaole staff (who don't take care of this specific condo but went above and beyond to assist us, and who were friendly and supportive in the process), trying to call Kathy on her office phone number and emergency number. She was unreachable and never returned messages left with her, explaining the situation. Thankfully, the on-site property manager was able, through a variety of efforts, to finally unlock the door so that we could gather our belongings. We never ever did hear from Kathy, whether to offer some explanation or apology for the inconvenience. (Further, on day one or two, we called Kathy to find out how to access the in-suite safe because a key hadn't been left with us. She never returned our call.)
It appears that once the credit card cleared and the money was paid, Kathy washed her hands of us. So, I would recommend this property but not this particular condo solely because of the agent.

We are deeply sorry that this guest was locked out. However the lock on this condo is set via satellite by the owner of the condo not our company. 11 am is the check out time and the owner has the locks set to change at that time. These guests checked out after check out time and so were not able to get back in. Not only did this company respond immediately to the manager, we provided a new temporary code for these guests to get back in.
