Rockaway Beach - Beautiful three bedroom home with lots of space for the entire family. Features a hot tub on the east deck and just seconds to the beach. Near Lake Lytle.

Rockaway Beach - Sand & Surf is a beautiful home with vaulted ceiling and plenty of room. There are three levels, with bedrooms on all; a wonderful open loft bedroom upstairs, a master suite on the mid-level with access to the deck and hot tub, and a semi-separate sleeping area downstairs with a private room and a great room with bunk beds and bath. This lower level room has its own entrance on the ground floor. Sand & Surf is a wonderful place to bring your family or large group. This house will sleep 10 people comfortably - so just bring'em all with you.There is a step saver kitchen, separate dining area, full bath and this home has a great, open, living area with a beautiful stained glass window and an electric fireplace. The furnishings are comfortable, beautiful and functional. You'll especially love the retro-modern Stereo/ CD that looks like a radio from the 40's. There is TV/Cable/VCR. You'll have a partial view of the ocean and be just steps to the beach access. Sand & Surf's hot tub is on the upper deck, which is perfect after a long walk on the beach or just for fun. This home has everything you will need or want. You'll never want to leave!

We came out with 5 people and all had more than enough room to cook sleep and play. There are so many different little zones to this house theres both good common hangout areas as well as private nooks to curl up with a book. The pictures don't do it justice. The decor is cozy and sweet, not like other rentals that are all chintz and 70's ****. The kitchen is well appointed and the hot tub was awesome.

Reviewer Comments:
Great house and great location. Our only issue was some safety things. We have a young child and the baby gate and the gate for the deck were both broken. A step also broke when my husband was walking down the stairs. With all that, we would still stay there again and just bring our own baby gates. Great seperation of the bedrooms to feel like everyone had their own space. Great decor and very comfortable and felt like home!

This was described as an 'ocean view' property...steps to beach access'.
It was, in fact, 2 blocks from the beach access, and there was absolutely no ocean view!

Nice house but the view of the ocean borders on false advertisement. If we were given the specific location ahead of time, we would not have rented the place. Also the BBQ grill was not cleaned - fish skin.

Great house, lots of room, funky layout but fun. Small details - some dishes, silverware, pots and pans not clean; be careful-water WAY too hot and shower control goes in opposite direction; really unpleasant smell in cupboard under sink. Rental process
