Dear Tim & Debbi,
I have wanted for sometime to express our thoughts and appreciation regarding your wonderful home on the mountain. "Edelweiss Chalet" - you could of not picked a better name for this home. My family and friends that joined us absolutely had the time of are lives enjoying the amenities & tranquility that this home provides.
Steamboat Springs is most definitely the most favorite colorado mountain town that we like to visit. But for me personally your home with your magnificent Chefs gourmet kitchen was the bomb, it provided the ability to create some wonderful meals during our stay - but the size of the kitchen afforded family as well to be an integral part of the creating experience. Then the fact that we had (2) of everything, utensils, appliances, ice makers, it was great...
The size of the house allowed even our large group the ability to find an area where it was quiet & relaxing, affording much needed time for read, soul searching and for me the continuing with the writing of my book.
The downstairs game room is magnificent - we loved the theatre room, pool table, and outside jacuzzi. The favorite place though for all was your wonderful back deck and the views it afforded us. The trees surrounding this deck allowed for the wonderful sound of the breeze whistling through them with the smell of pine when it rained. We had no problem finding every reason to eat out on this deck everyday.
For us the decorations & design of the home really stood out - and to this day still remains fixed in our memories. The bedrooms were design specifically each one to have a piece of character & charm. Finally as to the nightly before dinner drink & conversation, the sitting room with full rocked wall fireplace could not of been more soothing & appealing.
We will most definitely be looking forward to our next trip to Steamboat Springs - and when we do most certainly the Edelweiss Chalet will be our first choice to stay.
