Upgrade yourself to this Beautiful Townhome

I'm one of those finicky kind of travellers that expects the best of everything. To me, roughing it is 3 stars. I'm a platinum on three different airlines & four major hotel chains. When I check in, my status means I almost always upgraded. So its a big leap for me to forego my benefits at the big hotels and look at renting a townhome.
Tam's place exceeded my expectations. As soon as I opened the door, I felt like I had been upgraded! The place was immaculate, modern, spacious, fully equipped, comfortable, and very inviting. Everything looks new (probably because it is), and everything works.
Since our hosts knew that I was in town for the Formula 1, they had thoughtfully prepared a basket of amenities, including helpful information about the area and even earplugs for the track! They have a huge book on all the best restaurants, bars and shopping, as recommended by the locals -- not the visitors bureau. When I arrived, the host came over to welcome us and answer any questions about the property or the area. I immediately felt their genuine warmth.
My only criticism was that the place was initially a bit hard to find -- the satnav thinks the place is 200 metres away from its actual location -- but its not far away from the heart of the city. The neighbourhood feels like one I wish I could afford to live in back home. Very safe, very secluded, very affluent.
If you're in town for one of the big events where the hotels are charging extraordinary prices for rather ordinary accommodation, I highly recommend you check this place out. Its great value and you'll feel liked you've been upgraded!

Owner's Response: I just have to say that Mike and his father were ideal guests. If other vacation rental owners have a chance to allow Mike or his father to stay in their homes, they would be so lucky. Both are very courteous people.
