We were recently fortunate enough to stay in this amazing apartment in the heart of San Francisco. It is extremely spacious, light and airy with large windows affording fantastic views across the western side of the city and the Golden Gate bridge.
The apartment is the owner's home which he rents out when he is away. As such, there are some of his possessions in the apartment, but it is so big that there was ample room for all of our stuff as well. Being someone's home also has the advantage that it is much better equipped and far more homely and comfortable than many rental properties. It is just a sort stroll to San Francisco Bay and Fisherman's Wharf , which is the starting point for a wide choice of sightseeing buses and boat trips. It is also very well served by buses from either Polk Street or one of the neighbouring streets to all parts of the city. Just a few yards down the road begins a selection of good quality food shops and restaurants.
The owner, Jon, is very friendly and helpful and made sure that our stay was a truly enjoyable experience - thank you Jon !
Should we ever return to San Francisco, we will simply book to stay here again. We recommend it most highly.
