This two bedroom, two bathroom condo is located right in the heart of Whistler’s Pedestrian Village. The unit has a Queen bed in the Master bedroom, a Queen in the second bedroom and a Queen sofabed in the living room. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, gas fireplace, TV & VCR, DVD and balcony. The complex also offers an indoor hot-tub. Secure Underground Parking Stall #72. Additional parking is $12/day. Rate Base: 4 guests. Maximum occupancy: 6 guests.

This unit has air conditioning for the hot summer days.

The unit was adequate and clean, but could use some upgrades. The furniture was uncomfortable. While I understand the owners not spending more than they have to, the mattresses were not comfortable, and the fireplace either did not work, or we just never did figure out how to turn it on. The unit still uses a code-style lock, which apparently confused the front desk when they gave us key cards and we came back down because we couldn't get in the room. The (advertised) balcony is a Juliette style balcony which 4 people cannot fit on even just to stand. The bedrooms could use TV's-one had a very old TV that wasn't hooked up to cable, only played movies. No TV in the other bedroom at all. All in all, it was satisfactory, but we will probably look at other options on our next visit.

Manager responded on 4/4/2015:

The front desk was provided with the access code to give the guest checking in.

With coded locks, guests do not have to worry about losing keys or cards.

Looks like the guest was expecting something more than they found. This unit has been well kept with furniture being replaced as required, flat screen tv in the living room, free wifi, washer, dryer, etc...

It is the first complaint about the beds, so again, not exactly what they guest expected.

If we had received a call about the fireplace, we could have explained how to make it work, or have maintenance check it

The property was fairly well-maintained, and the amenities were good (washer and dryer at the rental property, free internet, access to hot tub in adjacent building). Location was good as it was right in the heart of a cluster of restaurants and stores (including El Furniture Warehouse for cheap eats), plus a 5 minute walk to a 7-11 for any late night needs. It was also not too far away from the Central Village.

However, the main reason I'm rating this 5 stars is because of the excellent customer service I received from the rental agent. I had a million questions before my trip and kept contacting him, but he answered them all in the most friendly manner. There was also a mix up on my last day but I was able to reach the rental agent right away even though it was at night, and was immediately helped.

I wouldn't need all this room by myself, but it's definitely a perk when staying with multiple people, so if I ever visit with a group of friends again, I would inquire if this property is available.

This unit is in a great location if you want to be in the main village. It was very clean and well appointed. The beds were really comfortable except for the pullout sofa which was absolutely useless (but from my experience that is always the case) so don't count on using the pullout sofa bed. Because it is in the main village, there was a fair number of yahoos strolling past during the night yelling and singing but that's the price you pay for being in the village. The unit itself was great.
