Come relax at our charming, remodeled island condo! Sanibel Island is located off the southwest Florida coast on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. One of your most difficult decisions will be choosing to walk just mere feet through a lush, tropical landscape to a heated pool lounge chair, or a few steps to enjoy the beautiful Gulf surf, sand, and sunsets. Don't forget to look for some special shells to take home as a souvenir.
Our island getaway is a light, airy space that includes 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a spacious loft with twin beds. Adding to your vacation comfort is a charming living/dining room, breakfast bar, fully-equipped kitchen, and private lanai. Flat screen TV/DVDs in living room, master and guest bedrooms, CD player, and free WI-FI will entertain you if you need a break from Sanibel's gorgeous, tropical weather.

After taking a family vacation at Villa Sanibel, our condo was purchased so we would always be able to enjoy Sanibel Island's lovely treasures. We spend time there every winter, escaping the cold and making sure everything is updated and ready for our guests. Our northwoods hideaway moved south is how we think of our tropical gem.

Villa Sanibel is a small, intimate complex of only 20 units with beautiful native plantings that makes it ideal for a relaxed stay. Amenities such as readily available tennis courts, heated pool, 2 gas grills, and close proximity to the beach, are perfect for family fun. Villa Sanibel's location affords easy access to a well-maintained 25 mile bike trail, and the beautiful JD "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge which showcases many of Florida's native mangrove trees, birds, and the occasional alligator. We love to go Tarpon Bay Marina and rent boats for fishing and enjoying nature. Our grandkids love to kayak to see many tropical shorebirds or listen to fascinating talks by naturalists.
We enjoy relaxing with a drink and dinner on our private lanai while viewing the lovely Gulf of Mexico. If we feel like eating out, it's just a short walk for a delicious meal at Casa Y Bel. A quick drive and you'll be at our favorite restaurant on the island, Trader's.
