A dump

Very old wood stove is ornamental ( I asked if there was wood supplied previous to coming - got no reply. Poorly stoced kitchen. Dishwasher very loud , i think neighbors were annoyed by it. Duct tape holding handle on enterance door . Painters tape holding microwave door. Pots and pans in poor shape. The only good thing is I was able to bring my dog. Poor ventilation. Essentially no windows. Like being in a closet

Great spot to ski Stratton with my dog

Pet friendly, 4-5 min from Stratton super clean and cozy would definitely stay here again.

This unit was not clean

Close to Stratton. Bedroom linens and towels appeared clean but no other housekeeping had been done prior to arrival. There was a snack wrapper on the couch (was going to give the benefit of the doubt that it just fell out of a bag or something, but then noticed all the other issues). Dirt, dust, crumbs, fruit pits on the floor that my dog was finding. So we had to vacuum (including lifting up bed frames to clean the fithly floors underneath so she could not get to them). There were spider webs under the bathroom mirror and in the shower (with a spider), hair in the shower, dirty dishes and utensils in the kitchen cabinets and shelves. The photos show a closet door in the kitchen but this was missing, same for the hall closet, exposing dirty door tracks, floors, and filthy cleaning supplies. I've communicated with guest services (expecting some compensation) but every time I reach out I'm told I'll hear back but I haven't.

Needs an honest walk through and thorough cleaning

The rental had used ear plugs and hair in the sheets of the bunk bed. It seemed like the bed was just made rather than turned over with new sheets. We had to wash the sheets before we were comfortable sleeping. The bathroom had pee stains underneath the toilet seat and in general looked liked it was long over due for a good scrubbing. When we tried to use the oven, smoke started coming out of it. We found oily, burnt drippings inside and decided not to use it. The microwave door was being held together by painters tape. If you're really just looking for somewhere near Stratton, very basic and don't care about the condition of the rental, this place could be ok.
