A true Northern Michigan experience

Far enough away from the busy-ness of Traverse City & close to quiet, solitude, nature and relaxation. Fishing is great--bass & bluegill. Fantastic sunrises. Bring your camera & binoculars. Our autumn stay was ideally timed and I look forward to spending time on Bass Lake in the summer & winter as well. Can you imagine the lake frozen...ice skating, ice fishing and staying cozy & warm by the wood burning fireplace. And in the summer! What a great place for swimming & playing in the sun. Stay here and you'll experience the best Northern Michigan has to offer at an affordable price in a clean, comfortable home.

We are a blended family with 5 teenagers between us,it was perfect for us! The cabin was very cozy & very well kept. We loved sitting around the campfire at night, and the fishing was great too. The view is awesome! It was also very nice to be so close to Traverse City. One of our best vacations ever with the kids. Thanks for the memories, Clyde & Mel

Wonderful comes to mind. We were deer hunting during our stay at the lodge. The central location of the lodge to traverse city,Honor, beaula is a plus. Very clean place with a nice kitchen flow. I would recomment the lodge and we are planning on renting again. Oh yea Boones long lake inn (best steaks ing the area)is a short distants from the lodge.

My husband and I stayed at the cabin in mid-September and had a very relaxing time. This was our second time booking. We were pleased with the updates to the cabin since our last visit and overall it is a beautiful area. My husband used the rowboat to go fishing every day and he caught several bluegill and bass. The lake is very peaceful and we loved sitting out on the deck in the evenings. Thank you Jennifer. We hope to return soon.

The Bass Lake Lodge was a perfect spot for our vacation. The cottage is rustic enough to feel like you're "getting away", but has all the comforts of home and was so clean that our baby could happily explore every inch on his hands and knees. The property provides exceptional lake views enjoyable from the enormous deck and the spacious living room, and the sunrises were spectacular every single morning. We hope to visit this lovely cottage again and lure some more fish out of beautiful Bass Lake!
