This impressive, huge home. Tastefully decorated with family vacations in mind. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 baths on 1st floor along with a large family room.46 inch HDTV Flat Screen over the fireplace on first floor, cozy game room with pool table to complete the party. 2nd floor has 60 inch Flat Screen with fireplace. Outside shower to rinse off from the ocean. French doors lead to a lovely landscaped patio backyard with firepit and a walkway to the beach. 3 parking spaces in driveway and 1 car in garage with a laundry room completes the 1st floor. Upstairs an open floor plan features a lovely country kitchen with century old wood floor. Lovely eat in country kitchen. There are present ocean views from the living/dining room, kitchen and both the 2nd floor decks. The master bedroom, with a cozy fireplace and vaulted ceilings, is very impressive. A huge dressing room, bathroom and closets are nearby. An open deck just off the master suite for your private secluded serenity. This 4-bedroom, 4 1/2 bath home has ocean views. This home is about 100 steps Mandalay Shores beach.

Location unbeatable, ample room to accommodate large family, lots of games for kids, TV was amazingly clear, abundance of towels. I would just recommend getting some mattress pads or replacing the mattresses for a few of the beds that were uncomfortable and a new bike pump so we could put air in the bike tires.

We have used VRBO several times and have not been disappointed. We are definitely planning on returning to this location but planning on staying longer.

From the moment we stepped inside and took in the features of this spacious and well appointed house we felt at home.
After spending 1 month here we honestly didn't want to leave.
From the close proximity to supermarkets and restaurants, freeways and lets not forget the beach. The position of this house and its features make this a holiday dream.
I would recommend staying here to all and as a family the time spent here by us will be remembered fondly and Im sure spoken about as one of our best ever vacations together.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was more than happy with the location.
The vacation rental was very clean.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

Reviewer Comments:
We had a nice week here. Our group appreciated the spacious living areas, especially the upstairs deck, and spent many hours enjoying the proximity to the beach. We also enjoyed having gas fireplaces and an outdoor fire pit for the chilly evenings. In general the beds were comfortable, but all of the pillows were very flat.

On the downside, we found the kitchen to be quite inadequate in terms of cooking tools (the pots and pans were awful, the knives dull, and kitchen missing several items that would have been helpful to have). Watch your head on the too-low hood over the stove! Also note that there is no normal coffee maker in the house - only a Keurig (with only a day's worth of K-cups provided), which is not effective or efficient when there are 8 adults wanting coffee in the morning!

Overall, a good choice for moderate (not budget, not luxury) accommodations close to the beach in Oxnard!

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this house. We had a great time. The house is huge and complete with all the amenities you would ever need. We felt like we were home, and yet, we felt like we were on vacation! There were 7 bikes which were great to ride along the beach.

Kristina, the property manager, was great! She reassured me that if we needed anything while we were staying at the house, we could always contact her.

The only thing that was lacking from this house was a jacuzzi, that would just be icing on the cake. But hey, there were plenty to do, so we didn't miss it.

Overall, a great house in a great location!
