Come down and relax at our peaceful lake house on the quiet northwestern side of Eagle Mountain Lake! This house offers convenient access to shopping and local attractions while providing a relaxing getaway in a quiet neighborhood between Azle and Boyd. We are eight minutes from stores and restaurants in Azle, just five minutes from A&M Gardens, 30 minutes from Texas Motor Speedway, 40 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, and 45 minutes from DFW International Airport.
This 1400sf house includes large windows and French doors that offer a panoramic view of the back yard and lake. Large decks front and back provide plenty of space for relaxation, and there is a patio right on the water for grilling, swimming, or just watching the wildlife! Another large patio on the ground level of the house also overlooks the lake and offers sheltered seating and a grill. The kitchen offers a country dining table overlooking the lake, granite tile countertops, and plenty of storage. Two of the bedrooms offer queen beds with high thread-count sheets. There are ceiling fans throughout, a gas fireplace, and a 32" TV with satellite and DVD player. A large back yard provides plenty of space for kids to play, and a lockable picket fence surrounds the property to offer lake and road safety for kids and pets.
Eagle Mountain Lake offers a more peaceful environment than the more urban lakes in the DFW Metroplex. Boating traffic is lighter, and you will see an abundance of ducks, pelicans, egrets, vultures and herons. Game fish include largemouth bass, white bass, spotted bass, white crappie, and channel catfish. This lake is one of the first near Fort Worth that allows duck hunting. Our canoe is available for your use, and although we don't have a dock our seawall includes stairs into the water as well as docking cleats and a mooring buoy. There is a public boat ramp within a quarter mile for your use.
