I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was more than happy with the location.
The vacation rental was clean.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The unit definitely needs a bit of updating to make it more comfortable. For example, the bed in the master bedroom is very high making it nearly impossible for my pregnant sister-in-law to get in the bed. A stepstool would have been helpful. Also, some other type of seating in the master bedroom is needed especially if you are getting dressed and just need a place to sit to tie your shoes or even just to read a book. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms and even the living room would have aided in an even distribution of air. Some were freezing at night while the people in the smallest bedroom were complaining it was too hot. Shower heads could have been better. It was difficult to wash your hair and get all the shampoo out. Linens (bed and bath) could have been of better quality. TV needs to be updated and there needs to be a DVD player. Nobody uses VHS tapes anymore. The living room has one couch and one chair - needs to be updated to accomodate the amount of people the unit can sleep. At the very least, get a loveseat. We also had problems with the dining room table - everyone kept stubbing their toes with the table legs. Porch needs some serious cleaning and new patio furniture. We liked the location and loved that you could see the pool from the porch. We did like that the unit was large enough that we were not bumping into each other. We also loved the fact that there were three full bathrooms and they were each a very nice size. We would definitely stay at the Barefoot Resort again but choose a more modern unit.
