From isolated undeveloped tropical islands accessible only by boat to world renowned tourist packed beaches with their nightclubs and souvenir shops. Over 20 barrier islands throughout the Gulf Coast and some of the best fishing grounds in the US. Travel 90 minutes south to Sanibel and Captiva Islands, known for being the best shelling place in the US. Miles of beaches with beautiful shells and Sand Dollars to be picked. Go on a supervised evening tour of turtle watch and observe them dig their nests and place their eggs. You may just get lucky and see hatchlings make their way to the water. You have a boat? A local public ramp and a short distance away is your own dock. There are marinas with Power Boats, Pontoon Boats, Canoes, Kayaks, Jet Skis and Sail Boat rentals. Charter a fishing trip into one of the country’s best fishing grounds and bring home your fresh catch. Local bait shop for the avid fisherman.
Several miles of crystal clear flats of shallow water for great snorkeling. Enjoy the colorful marine life just minutes from your own dock. Watch the sunset and sea life from your own dock while you enjoy the sea breeze. Home is decorated with a sea life and tropical flair. Approx. 1500 sq, ft. of living space in a quiet suburban neighborhood on a deep water canal, just minutes to the open gulf. Great dock for lounging and fishing. You may see dolphins frolicking and the manatees showing themselves off by the dock. Some of the local wild life in Hudson includes Sea Otters, Turtles, Deer, Great Blue Herons, Egrets and Parrots. Take one of the many biking trails and enjoy Florida’s wildlife. Catch your own dinner from your dock. Lots of different fish, fishing equipment and even bait available with your rental.
Feed the ducks, visit the shrimp docks for some of the best shrimp in the world, grill on the back porch or take a five minute drive to Florida’s famous Sam’s On The Beach or Mike's Dockside. Live music on weekends. Take a walk on the boardwalk; enjoy the pavilions, beach swings, and kids’ playground. You will think you are in Key West. Enjoy the local flavor. Over 40 restaurants, all within a short distance away. Over eight beautiful Golf Courses for the avid Golfer within a short distance of your home, including world famous Innsbrook and World Woods Gulf Courses. Great Shopping Centers and if you love hunting for bargains, visit the largest indoor Flea Market in Hudson just 10 minutes away. Just north is Weeki Wachee with its World Famous Mermaid Shows and Homossasa Springs. Enjoy some of the real old Florida with some beautiful wilderness, hiking trails and beautiful state parks. Swim with the Manatees. Go to Hudson Beach just 5 minutes away.
