No need to drive to the most popular places in Kailua when you can leave the car at the condo and walk along Ali'i Drive.

This complex is a great location for being near downtown Kailua Kona, yet you are right across the street from the beautiful Kona Coast Sunsets, fun restaurants and convenient shopping. You'll find treasures at the Kona International Marketplace, find local and exotic fresh fruits at several Farmer's Markets & sip world-famous Kona coffee where it's grown. This one bedroom, two bath condo was recently remodeled with simplicity in mind, and is very comfortable for a couple. We have tried to make our condominium as complete as possible for your enjoyment while on the Big Island of Hawaii. There is a 3 night minimum stay/10 During Ironman and Christmas. This is a non-smoking complex. W60129136-01

The only negative thing I will comment on is the noise from the highway. It was impossible to sit out on the lanai and enjoy the view. Traffic is very heavy, motorcycles, mopeds etc made it extremely noisy.

We stayed at this property as a base for our one month vacation on the Big Island. For convenient location, it cannot be beat if you want to be within walking distance of all the Kona shopping, dining and other experiences.We found it a very suitable space for two people. Very clean and well maintained and equipped with most of the items you will require for short and long term stay.

We stayed @ the Kona Pacific Feb 25-March7th of this year, 2012- We were so impressed w/ what what was included for the money spent, defiantly worth- Loved how it was so close to downtown Kona by all the fun little shops, we dont generally go to the same vacation spot twice, but if we ever go back to the Big Island Hawaii, we will FOR SURE stay here. The negative review about the noise out on the Lanai in no way deterred us- Great place, maybe we will be able to retire here:)

This condo is part of a complex with great proximity to everything we were looking for in our vacation to Kona - coffe shops, restaurants, shopping and the ocean. Unfortunately, the unit we were in E633 had a patio that overlooked an incredibly noisy , busy highway. So forget gazing out onto the ocean, having your morning coffee outside with a pleasant breeze or even leaving your window open to get some fresh air at night. All there is is noise noise noise! Make sure you get a unit that gives you an ocean patio. Or else plan to spend all your vacation time elsewhere and just use the place to sleep.

Good property management, nice condo complex, poor unit

We recommend Kona Pacific complex and Kona Coast Vacation booking agent but not this particular unit in the complex. Older but nicely maintained property and agent that promptly took care of problems with this unit. Unit not well equipted for a rental...not even salt & pepper shakers (except the cardboard ones), no 'phone, no beach towels, etc. Prop. mgmt. took care of no work toaster, kitchen ceiling lights out, dish washer not anchored to cabinets (tilted fwd), and leaking washing machine. Sticky kitchen floor, penny & glob of hair in disposal, food particles stuck to glassware, dinnette chair pads filthy (cleaning service??). Unit backs up to Kuakini Rd...VERY noisy 'round the clock. Awakened nightly by vehicles w/loud exhaust, loud radios, & knobby truck tire rumble. Lani is totally unusable and have to keep doors closed all the time and TV turned up just to hear it. Enjoy Kona & the Big Island but stay in a unit other than in Building "E."
