This beautifully decorated and recently updated condo at the very popular Casa de Emdeko complex, is a perfect home base for friends and family to relax and enjoy Kona.We are currently offering a SPECIAL RATE of $85/night

Beautifully remodeled from top to bottom including tropical décor. Located on the third floor adjacent to the elevator with ocean and garden views from the lanai. The renovation of the entire unit was just completed in August 2006. Access to the bathroom is from both the hallway and the bedroom. The new tile bathroom includes a beautiful shower with sitting bench. The new granite kitchen has new white cabinets, all new appliances including stove, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and microwave. New cool tile floors throughout. Amenities include air-conditioning, ceiling fans throughout and washer and dryer. Brand new furniture throughout the unit including a queen size bed in the bedroom and queen size sofa bed in the living room. All of the art is by renowned Hawaiian artist David Gallegos. The condo includes cable TV/VCR, stereo with cassette and CD player, beach back-pack chairs, beach towels, beach coolers, iron & ironing board. There are two telephones and an answering machine. Reviewer Comments:
We had a very pleasant stay at the condo while we were there. Had most everything that we needed for time that we stayed there. The pools were excellent for times that we didn't want to go to the beaches. The complexes were within walking distance of town and beaches. There is a nice store in front of the condos if you need something that you might need and didn't want to go to town.
I would stay there again if we were to go back to Kona again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was more than happy with the location.
The vacation rental was clean.
The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Fan in sleeping room was not working. The furniture wasn't in a good shape. The whole apartment smell. We had to buy febreze to get rid of the smell. I would not recommend this appartment to a friend

There was dust on the slats of the pocket door and on the floor and in the kitchen and bathroom. We were also disapointed in the size of the TV. Other than those minor inconveniences, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Reviewer Comments:
The bed would benefit from a better pillow-top or memory foam. The interior has been updated, but the furniture and appliances definitely need some care. The refrigerator front is rusty, the freezer is loud, the dishwasher needs new racks and the coffee pot was very icky. Bathroom is wonderful. Wifi was spotty.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

Reviewer Comments:
Of considerable disappointment was the loss of three cotton tee shirts which were shrunk beyond use because the hot and cold water feeds were reversed on the in unit wash machine.
