Casa de Emdeko, affectionately known as the 'Crown Jewel of the Kona Coast' is an oceanfront complex located on Alii Drive-One and a half miles south of the village of Kona and about ten miles south of the Kona International Airport (KOA). Casa unit # 133 is a one bedroom, ground floor, non-smoking, unit that sleeps two. It has central A/C and ceiling fans in each room. This condo is five units back from the ocean. With the living room opening onto the lanai and the beautiful tropical garden. You are just steps from the 2 swimming pools, cabana with gas grills, tables and chairs, and the ocean's edge. There are no stairs to climb and no waiting for the elevator. Palm trees, beautiful green lawns, tropical plants, and flowers abound throughout the complex. This is a non-smoking unit with a 2 person maximum. 3 night minimum, stay 10 during Christmas & Ironman season. W30388746

My son and his family stayed in #133 and really liked it. Had a little mildew smell but not as bad as some of the others. Once they figured out the A/C, it seemed to help. The cleaning folks left a couple of rags on the floor and had to come back with towels they apparently forgot. Maybe they weren't quite ready for them. Amenities were good and it was a comfortable place. I think they would go back!

The property was nice, the view spectacular, the Cabana in the evening was alot of fun. The coffee table in this unit was deadly and we both cut our legs on the glass table.

This unit was everything we expected and more. Good size for two people, well equipped. Close to pools with stone wall to sit on and watch the sunset. Large clean BBQ area - and much more. Hope to return soon.
