Only about 45 minutes away from Cologne, Bonn, Aachen or Trier by Blankenheim you will find our cottage in a stunning landscape on the edge of the city in Blankenheim-Reetz. The beautiful Freilinger See is about 3 km away and invites you to go swimming, hiking or boating. We can rent you kayaks. Hiking paths without ends offer possibilities for hiking or horse riding from the house on your own horses or together with us on our horses. We invite you to have a romantic carriage ride. Cottage a Blooms is a small old farm house that was completely restored and renovated according to the current standards. Special attention was paid to preserve the old style. The apartment was furnished in a designer style in 2004, classical but not too old and of course, with sofas to relax. It has something. The house is located directly by the oak/beech forest, has day-long sun, sun terrace and meadows without end. The grazing horses provide for a moving image.

Blankenheim-Reetz is located in the German-Belgian natural park in the Kalkeifel by the Oberahr. Central between Cologne and Trier, Aachen and Koblenz and about 25 minutes from the Nürburgring, Reetz is 850 years old and has a well-functioning village life. In the Dorfkrug the food is great, the prices are low and the portions are big. You can get bread and newspapers and whatever you need in the Tante Irmtraudladen, 200 m from the house.

  • We rent the house for 3 nights or more at € 60 per night for 2 people. Two children up to 14 years are for free with their parents. For 3 or 4 people, the house costs € 70 per night. Outside of the season, we also rent the house for long weekends for € 160 for 2 people with 2 children and € 180 for 3 or 4 people. We rent starting on Friday, 15:00 to Friday 10:00 am or a long weekend: Friday 15:00 pm to Sunday evening.
  • For dogs we charge € 6 per day. For horses, we charge € 6 per day on the meadow. In the box € 10. Food is included in the price.

Liebe Hiltrud, Lieber Ecke,

Schon bei der Einweihung Eures Ferienhaus nach der Renovierung haben wir die geschmackvolle Einrichtung und die liebevollen Details der Zimmer bewundert. Eure tiergerechten Stallungen am Haus in wunderschöner Natur gelegen, haben uns als Pferdenarren beeindruckt.

Aber auch eure Ferienwohnung im Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen. Bis ins Detail warm und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben auch sehr gut geschlafen, was uns auf fremden Matratzen nicht immer gelingt.

Eure Gastfreundschaft war wie immer Spitze!

Romantisches Häuschen in der Eifel

Liebe Hiltrud, lieber Ecke,
war es wirklich schon unser 3.Frauen und Kinderwochenende bei Euch? Es war wieder wunderschön. Und wie auch schon bei unserem ersten Besuch hat Euer liebevoll eingerichtetes Häuschen sehr zu unserer Erholung beigetragen. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet, so dass man auf keinerlei Komfort verzichten muss. Vielen Dank für die tolle Betreuung und die guten Freizeittipps! Wir kommen garantiert wieder. Vielleicht schon bald, dann aber auch mit Mann... :-)

Einfach ein Traum

Es ist sowas von romantisch in dem Tälchen und außer den 4 Pferden und den Vögel im gegenüberliegenden Wald hört man nichts. Als Städter ist man das nicht gewohnt, soviel Ruhe toll. Das Wohnzimmer mit dem offenen Feuer abends, die rustikal moderne Küche einfach geschmackvoll. Es hatte zwar öfter geregnet aber in der kleinen Bibliothek mit der Sitzgruppe war das sogar schön, wenn der Regen auf die schrägen Fenster rieselte. Die Gastgeber sind die personifizierte Herzlichkeit und eine Kutschfahrt, zu der wir eingeladen wurden, gab das Tüpfelchen aufs i. Leider sind wir keine Reiter, das wäre es dann noch gewesen.

Erholung pur

wunderschön eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, wo man überall die Liebe zum Detail erkennen kann. Wir haben mit der ganzen Familie ein Weihnachtsfest dort verbracht und uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Auch im Sommer waren wir dort und konnten die Ruhe und die schöne Umgebung genießen. Die Gastfreundschaft, die uns entgegengebracht wurde, haben wir als äußerst angenehm empfunden, nicht zuletzt die Kutschfahrten zu erwähnen. Dieses Feriendomizil kann man nur weiterempfehlen, so wie wir das tun. Auch wir werden nicht zum letzten Mal unseren Urlaub dort verbracht haben!
Owner's Response: Danke für die netten Zeilen. Ja das war schön an Weihnachten und vor allem an Sylvester. Das sollte man wiederholen aber dieses Jahr sind wir schon verbucht.

wunderschönes Landhaus in herrlicher Natur

Also ich bin einfach platt, da hier ein Häuschen mit so viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet wurde. Alter Flair mittels hochwertigen Materialien und einem Schuss Nostalgie wurde hier miteinander verbunden. Gleichauf bleiben keine Wünsche im Bezug der Außenanlagen offen. Auch Regentage können ohne aufkommende Langeweile draußen verbracht werden. Die freilaufenden Pferde in der Koppel tun ihres dazu. Hiltrud und Ecke lassen einfach Nichts aus, um ihren Gästen unvergessliche Tage in herrlicher Natur zu ermöglichen. Ich wette, jeder Gast kommt gerne wieder dorthin.
