I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was spotless.
The property manager was very unhelpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Wonderful house and ammenities, unsatisfying customer service
My family and I have been customers of Ocean edge for many years, we have rented Take 5 for the past 5 years. This year I failed to provide the "agreement" paperwork before arrival, and missed their reminder E mail. I had it with me as it turns out. We called at 5:10 P.M. 15 minutes away from the office. I was unaware that we had not completed the paperwork and they did not mention it. When we got to the office to pick up the keys we were scolded for making the owner and her employee wait a half hour for us. I do not know why they did not put the keys and the paperwork in the box outside the office if they had needed to leave. As I said, we have been staying with them for years, have always left the house spotless, and never had a problem.
After apologizing twice we were scolded again, even as we were leaving the office. Her behavior was unprofessional.
Part of the reason that we go through an agency rather direct to the owner of a property is to make things easy and predictible.
It was a very unpleasant way to begin our vacation.
In the future we will consider other options to using Ocean Edge.

Here's the history:*For all the years the Thorns have been renting Take Five, OceanEdge policy has been that SIGNED contracts are received in the OceanEdge office before renters receive keys to the property.*For all the years the Thorns have been renting Take Five, OceanEdge has closed the office at 5PM. The office opens at 9AM and closes at 5PM. OceanEdge understands renters have complicated lives also.*We send the contract out as many times as is needed (renters sometimes misplace the paperwork).*We remind renters, with emails and sometimes phone calls, to send the paperwork back--and that the office closes at 5PM.*We package keys in a special spot for late-arriving guests who have signed their contracts.On the particular day the Thorns arrived, every staff person--and the owner--had personal plans and needed to leave the office as soon as possible at 5PM. In fact, the owner missed the obligation she had for that evening since the Thorns called after 5PM and arrived, as she said, around 5:30.
