We celebrated a family reunion ~ our five children, their spouses, and 22 grandchildren ~ coming from all over CA and PA. The children ranged in age from 2 months to 16 years of age. There was plenty of room for the little ones to play, for some to roller blade, for others to play basketball, or to just sit around and play cards or watch a movie. The kitchen was a very nice size for feeding a group this size ~ and the back patio was large enough for all of us to enjoy ~ especially in the evening when it was cooler and we could sit around the fire pit and sing songs. Star gazing was fantastic! The accommodations were outstanding, with a room for each family ~ however, I believe that most of the children decided to sleep outside on the patio together. The bonding among the grandchildren was beautiful to see and they all cried when leaving.
The only downside was that we could not get email service consistently ~ but perhaps that was a good thing!
