Condo was just what we were looking for during our stay on the beach, neat, clean, well stocked for what my family of four needed. Who would not enjoy every morning watching the Dolphin swim right in front of the condo, so close that you could almost touch them. Great swimming, skim boarding or just being lazy on the beach. You couldn't ask for anything better
Betty at Bender Realty was wonderful recommending places to eat and things to do besides the shrimp fest.
Restaurants not to miss were- Wolf Bay Lodge at Zeke's Landing----awesome food and great surroundings to be right on the dock where the boats come in. Lulu's right by the inlet is a great place for the family, The Mahi Mahi baskets is amazing! We were very pleased. What a great place if you have small children to go and let them be free to play in the sand and play volleyball etc.
The place to stay away from is Ribs and Reds.......when we asked the waitress what kind of fish was the white fish, she said Swaye and that it came from the river, What River? Really, come to find out that it was farm raised fish. For all the local boats that are fishing, not to offer fresh fish, they should be ashamed. But anyway, the Beach Bazaar is the place LADIES.....if you want to find that perfect swimsuit that fits like a bra, and comfortable. I have been searching for a long time to find something that fits and this place has it.
The best part of the whole trip was the day trip to the Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum. First of all, its FREE! and as encouraged by Betty to have a guided tour. Mr Tom Phelps, boy did he know his stuff! Every date and fact about those planes, you couldn't read in any book. He was wonderful, full of history that everyone of any age should take time and go visit. About 30-40 minutes away from the condo.
SHRIMP FEST.... what can you say about that. Amazing! The nightly entertainment was great. The swinging medallions and Phil Vassar, to name a few.
If you like fishing.... the pier is just a skip away from the condo and a great time catching fish.
Most of all, don't forget your trip to Billy's Seafood to get all the fresh shrimp, fish to take home with you....they will pack to go. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great time!
