I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was happy with the location.
The vacation rental was very clean.
The property manager was more than helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.

Reviewer Comments:
We were to stay in "A Nautical Love Nest" for our entire trip--7 nights. We had poured over all of American Mountain Rentals cabins looking for the perfect one, which included all of the amenities we wanted. We were disappointed when we arrived to find the air conditioning was not cooling, the bed felt like if you moved at all it was going to break, and after an evening of rain, the ceiling above the table was leaking. Maintenance came while we out to lunch and we received a call saying the AC was not going to be repaired during our visit, and we were moving to another cabin. We were excited about this, but a little disappointed after looking at "our cabin" online for months before our arrival for our honeymoon. We ended up getting a bigger place, a chalet, for no additional charge. The management was great and refunded our terrible night at the Nautical Love Nest.

Our family stayed in the cabin during Spring Break. It was a nice time and fit our family of five well. The little one's loved the hot tub especially. The only problem we encountered was not being able to use the DVD player; it wouldn't connect to the TV. However, that small burp wouldn't stop us from coming again.

The Jacuzzi did not stay hot. the electronic fireplace was not romantic and the downstairs stayed cold.. Didnt appreciate a squirrel jumping out at us due to a nest inside of porch..

We visited for our 2nd anniversary. The place was great and very romantic. Set off from the road a bit it was secluded by trees. Not far from Pigeon Forge or Dollywood. Only two problems: 1) The water smelled like sulfur from their unfiltered well and 2) the fireplace lights were burned out and couldn't be used. Other than that, perfect!
