I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
The property manager was very unhelpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

3rd Time at Cabin & Very Disappointed, Poor Customer Service by Prop. Mgmt
1st time (many years ago) the cabin was great. 2nd time cabin needed some minor maintenance, things replaced, not super clean but tollerable. 3rd time the cabin was dirty (hair in bathroom, oven & microwave dirty, dishes dirty), but most importantly the heater didn't work & property manager never came back or contacted us after looking at it. The response that was originally given to us was that we could have burned wood in the fire place/stove to keep warm at night. After a full day of snow activities, you wouldn't want to stay up all night feeding the fire place. Not exactly a vacation & not sure what the property manager was thinking! The property management firm collects a cleaning fee as part of the rental so you would think that you would be getting a clean cabin. This property management company isn't very concerned about customer service.
Manager responded on 3/11/2010:
It was arranged to have the forced air heater repaired. Because of the holiday weekend it was unable to be repaired that day. This Customer was offered when they complained about the cleaning to have someone come out and clean the cabin again to their liking, but refused. There was a wood burning fireplace as a backup heat source which keeps this cabin very comfortable. This cabin is enjoyed by many returning customers. They wouldn't return if they didn't like it.
