'Camp Logjam' is an Adirondack-furnished, 3,600 square foot contemporary Log home. Built in 1992 and renovated in 2010 (new wood floor throughout the main floor with radiant heat, new bathrooms on the main floor), Logjam sits on just under 1 acre of waterfront property with 220 feet of frontage on 860-acre Oseetah Lake. It faces the Northern Adirondack Peaks (Ampersand, Nippletop, Scarface etc.). It is located 1.3 miles from the railroad tracks just off of Pendergast Way.
With a 30-foot dock for those with their own boat or those who rent one in town and bring it to the dock, and a fire pit framed by 100-foot pine trees and views of the High Peaks, Logjam is a warm, comforting retreat during any season. Use one of the 2 available kayaks (one of which is a Hobie Cat tandem kayak which can be pedaled and/or paddled), the canoe, or the row boat. On land, enjoy the adult Trek mountain bike or one of the many kid's bikes as well.
Although private, Logjam is only an 8-mile drive to the center of Lake Placid (shopping, movies, restaurants, ice skating) or a 5-mile drive to Saranac Lake (shopping, bowling, restaurants).
