Photos and Description of the Pagosa Springs vacation house rental
House, 4 Bedrooms + Loft, 3 Baths (Sleeps 10-12)

Located 1 mile from town, our home offers breath taking views without the hassle of driving miles to get to the grocery store, shopping or local amenities. The house is available starting in Sept of 2012 after a renovation and update to furniture and bedding. The house is a 4 bedroom that sleep 10-12 people. The latest addition is a bunk room that has oversized beds and can sleep 4 people.

The house is located on top of hill just outside of town and has great views from every room. If you like to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee or sunset with a glass of wine this is the rental for you. There are 3 different decks that allow you to see for miles in all directions.

The home has two flat screen TV's equipped with Direct TV and the NFL ticket for this fall. The stereo also has an iPod port so you can relax to your own selection of music. There is high speed WiFi included and the ability to connect should you need internet access.

During the winters in Colorado, we suggest 4 wheel drive vehicles. It is not uncommon for Pagosa to receive 1-2 feet of snow in town and even more at Wolf Creek pass making roads difficult to travel. Our driveway is plowed by a local neighbor after heavy snowfall and will always be open but sometimes it can take a while for storms to pass.

Mountain View : Big views of Pagosa Peak, Chimney Rock and surrounding mountains

The views make you feel like you are on top of the world and out in the wilderness but we are 1 mile from Pagosa Springs shopping, grocery store and the local Pagosa Springs Brewery. In the winter skiing is 20 miles up to Wolf Creek pass with several ski rental shops along the way. In summer there is an abundance of activities from rafting, fishing, hot air ballooning and hiking. It is not uncommon to see wildlife at any time during the year such as deer and elk.

The owners were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure our family's visit to Pagosa Springs was amazing. Their house is beautifully decorated, clean, quiet and stocked with plenty of essentials. The beds are very comfortable. The house and views are even better than the pictures. Terrific location near town, golf, park, and mountains. Our kids loved it as well. We look forward to staying there again.
