Fantastic Trip

Cannot wait to go again. The house is exactly as pictured. I watched the videos while on the back porch and could see where the filming was done. Carla, the maid, spoke a little english but between us we could get by. She would gladly cut up fruit or arrange food on a platter that was sitting out. The restaurant is being remolded but the food was delicious. The white cabana chairs were amazing.
We went around the area alot and found the book at the house (driving directions and interesting places to go) really helpful. We could have found Yolanda's (you must go there) without the book but some of the other places we needed help. The hot springs were a little funky but I am glad we went.
Am already looking to go back and stay at the house during the summer.

I agree with your assessment of the hot springs. When we were there we had to stay off to the side but I think if you go at night you have access to the center also. Next time try San Juan del Sur and the homemade pool tables at the Black Whale. We had a lot of fun there.
Let me know when you wish to return to Casa Barranco. We give repeat guests a break in the cost.
