The bedrooms are large with high ceilings, fans and have built in wardrobes with plenty of storage space. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and is full of charm with original timber paneling detail. Two more bedrooms with single beds have french doors opening onto a large side courtyard.
The spacious and light filled open plan living area with feature gas fireplace opens out onto a large garden accessed through bifolding doors. The kitchen has European gas appliances, fully integrated fridge, pantry, stone bench top with breakfast bar. Off the kitchen is a separate room that accommodates a full laundry and ample storage and bench space. This also provides a side entrance to the house from the carport and courtyard.
The bathroom is bright and airy with its louvered windows, big bath and large glazed shower space, double sinks and separate toilet all looking out into the courtyard.
Continuing upstairs you can enjoy views over the city. Currently fitted out as a rumpus room and home office and easily converted into an extra bedroom.
There are beautiful kauri pine floors and quality fixtures and fittings throughout. The property is also located directly across the road from the local park, an appealing feature that makes this property very family friendly.

We renovated our 100 year old timber house in 2002 and have lived in it for the past 12 years (except during the construction period). The reason we are renting out the house is because we have moved ourselves (temporarily) to the North Coast to support a family friend that has breast cancer and to take the opportunity to live close to the beach.

The reason we purchased this property is because of the size of the land, which is quite large for an inner city dwelling and that it is a weatherboard house that was in need of quite a bit of work. The house had been in the same family for approximately 70 years and only one other prior to that.
We designed the extension and did the renovations ourselves with the help of our team of tradespeople as well. I was running my recruiting company from home during the evening and working on the house during the day. I can remember one afternoon, the tarp I'd purchased to cover the top floor was a bit short on the sides, when it started to rain heavily and started leaking I had to cover the office equipment and myself in clear plastic so I could stay dry and continue to work. Joys of renovating.
The house has very high ceilings, 3.2 meters, which gives it a very open feeling. The rear bi-folding doors open onto a grassed back yard, the coral bark maples and little gems making for a outdoor indoor area. The house has a good feeling about it and is very easy to live in.
This three bedroom home with off street parking is located in the Italian quarter of Sydney's Inner West and is a 10 minute walk to the heart of it on Norton Street . In 25 minutes or less, using public transport that is just moment from the door, a bus or the light rail can get you into the centre of Sydney. If you have a car then even less.
Leichhardt Norton Street has a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes, wine bar, pubs, cinema, shopping centre for fresh produce and the groceries, video hire and some of the best icecream around.
The beaches, Sydney Harbour, Darling Harbour, Casino, Fish Markets, Museums, Art Galleries, Sporting Arenas, Golf Courses, Zoo are close at hand as are the Blue Mountains.
There are some great walking tracks along the Sydney Harbour Foreshore, local markets on a Saturday morning, local swimming pool and a park just across the road.
We are in a convenient and central location which gives you easy access to what Sydney has to offer.

There is a cleaner that will come in at the end of your tenancy, see cleaning fee of $90. A gardener is provided to look after plants and lawn cutting.
Internet Usage Fee is a weekly charge of $50 for 7 nights, i.e. $7.14/night
Linen will be provided but if you would like to have a laundry service this is available for an extra charge.
Booking fee / security / damage deposit of $500 to secure the property to be paid to confirm your booking. The full rental amount is payable within 10 days prior to arrival. The security / damage deposit will be refunded within 1 week of your departure. For bookings of more than a week the security / damage deposit will increase by $250 for every additional week.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (AUD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
