Very cute, good bargain

This is a very cute little apartment in a great location, close to Grace Cathedral. It is definitely small, but the space is used well. My wife and I only occasionally bumped into each other when we were trying to get ready in a hurry. I wouldn't recommend this place for more than two people, but it works fine for a couple. (And anyway, you'd pay more for a hotel room this size in this area, without a kitchen.)
The owners are nice and provided a good amount of information for us. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. The only potential problem I could see with this place would be the lack of air conditioning if you're there during a particularly hot spell, but I believe that's par for the course in the older buildings in this area.
One of the best features of this place is the roof deck. You can make yourself a quick breakfast in the kitchen and then go up to eat it on the roof with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance. Quite nice.
Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay at our pied-a-terre. When the weather gets warm, we
use our fan, which was there for your use, in the closet. San Francisco has
'natural' air-conditioning when the fog rolls in and indeed many, many of the older
buildings or private homes do not have a/c. Also glad you enjoyed our common
roof top deck. The panoramic views are spectacular especially seeing our beautiful Golden Gate Bridge. The best, Sara and Kevin
