Quiet and very private, this 3-room apartment (55m²/600ft²) offers superb open views across a park and the Amstel river. In a popular and one of the best areas in town and near a shopping street. Close to the historical centre and to public transport and always parking spots in front of the apartment (paid parking).
The apartment is fully equipped with:
1. Living/dining room, flat screen TV (Satellite TV) with DVD player, free WiFi, comfortable couch and chairs
2. Master bedroom with double (King) size bed (2x 36x78 inches / 2x90x200 cm) and wardrobes.
3. Second bedroom with double (Queen) size bed (2x 31x78 inches / 2 x80x200 cm).
4. Kitchen with toaster/oven/grill/microwave plus washing/dryer machine.
5. A marble tiled bathroom with shower.
The apartment is on the first floor (no lift) and is graced by the sun, because of its corner positioning towards the East and South and is very light. Complete with central heating making the apartment very comfortable.
The rent includes cleaning, fresh bedding & towels. I am sorry but we do not rent to families with children under 10 years old.
South of the centre in one of the best areas in town. The area features many traditional Amsterdam buildings which were built in the 1930s. Close to the city centre and near a shopping street with supermarkets open every day till 10 PM. Also close to RAI exhibition centre. Always parking spots in front of the apartment (paid parking 17 EUR/day, sunday is free) or in a Parking House nearby (12 EUR/24 hrs).
No neighbors across the street and a open lovely view of tree lined park which lies across the borders of the Amstel river. A few minutes walk from the apartment takes you to a shopping street, where you'll find grocery shops and restaurants to have breakfast, lunch and take-away. The grocery shops and supermarkets are open 7 days a week till 10PM.
Close to public transport:
- Tram 4 takes you in 4 minutes to the largest open air market (Albert Cuyp) and to the centre in 10 minutes
- Tram 12 brings you in 10 minutes to the Museum Area
- From nearby railway station RAI in 11 minutes to the airport.
You can also walk quite easy from the apartment to the centre and feel the atmosphere of this unique area where tourists from all over the world are enchanted by the architecture (Amsterdam School).
Bicycles are provided for free! We also provide you with all tourist information for sight seeing, best local restaurants, best way to use public transport and other secrets to explore.
No smoking in the apartment or in front of the apartment. No pets allowed and no loud noise and respect the peace and rest of neighbours.

The apartment has got a unique location. In one of the best areas in Amsterdam; facing a park and the Amstel river (no neighbours) and lots of trees and plants in the neighbourhood and still a real Amsterdam neighbourhood with all the facilties like Tram, foodshop and supermarkets and restaurant within a few minutes distance and with tram in 10 minutes right in the heart of the historical center and always parking spots in the street
Architecture (building from the 1930's) makes it a real Amsterdam apartment (architecture style is called Amsterdam School); very light apartment (East, South positioning) and facing the green trees of the park and the blue water from the Amstel river which makes it very quiet to relax from the busy city. But if you like to benefit cities life, you'll be there within 15 minutes!
Unser Aufenthalt war sehr schön in Amsterdam, Wohnung ist so wie auf den Fotos beschrieben. Das Bad ist sehr klein aber für einen Kurzurlaub vollkommend ausreichend.
Hans war sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar auf Deutsch alles erklärt und zusätzlich gute Tipps für Amsterdam gegeben. Die drei Fahrräder sind typisch für Amsterdam und so kann man von der Wohnung alles bestens erreichen. Supermärte sind ebenfalls in der Nähe. Auch ein etwas verspäteter Check-Out war kein Problem. Haben sogar noch einen Tipp für die beste Route auf dem Rückweg bekommen.
Wenn wir nochmal nach Amsterdam kommen, würden wir dieses Apartment auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

The bikes were very useful and we have very much appreciated cycling in Amsterdam, particularly the route proposed by Hans in ipstein.

Beautiful clean property with good access to public transport into the centre of Amsterdam. Hans was very helpful and followed up when we left something at his property. He also left us an Easter cake outside our door which was a lovely surprise. Good cooking facilities and a washing machine. Great value.
The apartment was clean and well positioned to see Amsterdam. The landlord gave very clear instruction about the apartment, the area, and places to visit in Amsterdam. The apartment had all the necessities and the neighborhood had restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Parking wasn't cheap, but we knew that going in, and was available.
Two downsides. First, the shower, which got the whole bathroom wet because it was tight and had no separation to the rest of the bathroom. Second, the landlord's walking time estimates, which were optimistic.
The apartment was comfortable and well furnished. Hans provided lots of helpful information and even arranged for a taxi to the airport for us at the end of our stay.

The historical city centre is 15 minutes away and public transport in neighbourhood (tram, railway station, subway) and a shopping street around the corner (supermarkets open 7/7). Also close to RAI exhibition centre.
