This is a really good house for a large group. Perfectly located, you can park your car and go anywhere on foot; shops,restaurants, marina, Colonial Hotel heated pool, beach etc. The house is 150 years old and has been renovated to be very comfortable. But beside the kitchen, the overall finish of the house is basic so, you won't be scared of breaking anything! The 3rd floor rooms still needs a bit more love to accommodate adults comfortably, but are very good for having the kids sleep. There is no BBQ or patio chairs, but maybe that will change as the owner is very keen in making your stay as perfect as possible.

We very much enjoyed having your large group, from Canada. We did take in the Gas Grill, and Porch Rocking Chairs this late in season, and promise to have them out next Spring, for your return. We continue to upgrade 3rd floor, with all new paint, and new updated Bathroom. We promise to keep trying. Call us again at the "Old River House", when you want the Maine Seacoast!
