I can't believe that it has been a month since I was in London!
I stayed in the Rosary Gardens flat along with my adult daughter and a family friend who are similar in age (+/-25). We are so happy that we found your company on line and were able to experience living in the South Kensington neighborhood for our stay- as opposed to spending 7 nights in a hotel.
Aside from cost savings (which is considerable!), the experience in our lovely flat was priceless. The flat itself was clean and nicely furnished, and was big enough for us to have comfortable meals, space for rest and downtime. The kitchen itself was small but well stocked and once we figured out how to use the washer/dryer combo everything was perfect.
The master bedroom was really nice- with a great comfortable bed with a down comforter and the windows provided light and a view of the neighborhood behind the building. There is more than enough closet space in the master bedroom to handle quite a few suitcases of clothes etc. The twin beds in the smaller bedroom were also comfortable and warm.
One of best advantages of staying in the property was being in a neighborhood. We had the choice of exploring the local pubs, restaurants, grocery stores, florists, etc. in our neighborhood or just being able to make a great meal in our flat and enjoy a glass of wine. The location was really convenient with the Gloucester Tube Station a few short blocks away and we were able to see quite a few of the "must-see" attractions in London with easy access and always with that great comfortable couch and comfy bed waiting for us at the end of the day.
Everyone we dealt with at London Connexions was great; from Christine helping me with my booking and the change of properties, to Ricardo who was our very pleasant and helpful "greeter" at the property itself, and finally David, our driver, who gave us great tips, gossip and UK news - both on the way to our flat and then back to Heathrow and home to the US.
This was my "dream trip" as I have been an English history fan for years and have wanted to visit not only London but other areas of the UK as well. We really felt like we were able to "live" in London for a week and not just visit. That is what made this experience so priceless.
