Savannah, GA is beautiful, historic and artistic.

Founded in 1733, Savannah was the new world's first planned community. Wander through twenty-two squares landscaped in azaleas and live oaks dripping in Spanish moss.

Every major event in US history touched the city. Visit a Revolutionary War Battlefield and the house Gen. Sherman occupied during the Civil War.

Used as the location of many major motion pictures (Forrest Gump, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Something to Talk About, etc.), it is now the location of the Savannah Film Festival every fall. And in the spring is the Savannah Music Festival.

Fifteen miles from the Atlantic Ocean at Tybee Island, GA, and two and a half hours from Charleston, SC, Savannah is perfectly located to enjoy all manner of recreation. Savannah is a perfect vacation spot for every interest in your family.

The carriage house was perfect for our stay and is actually a little larger than we expected from the photographs. Centrally located , very clean and nicely appointed . I would book this VROB again

The place exceeded our expectations. It has a specific atmosphere, stylish, close to the historic district.
Quiet neighborhood, nice patio. I would gladly rent this place again.

Great place to stay

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and were very happy with carriage house. It was extremely clean, in a great location, quiet (for its location), and very comfortable.
The bed is comfortable. The shower has great pressure. The bathroom (shower and toilet) is a little awkward at first, since it's so small, but that's not a huge deal.
The biggest plus to this place is the location. Within a few minutes walk, you're at the river, good shopping on Broughton, a park, or a good pub.
The only downside is in the bedroom; at night, the street lights brighten the room quite a bit. For those that prefer dark rooms, I would suggest a pillow over the head or an eye mask. Also (and this is very minor) it would be nice to have a small TV in the bedroom - for the ultimate laziness.
Again, this is a great place especially for the price. Lots of privacy and comfort for the same price as (in same cases cheaper than) a hotel room.

Savannah is such a charming town, and the Carraige House was a wonderful jumping off point for our adventures. Perfectly located and walking distance to all the sights, it was great to come home to its cool fun interiors to take a load off. I loved everything about it.
