Webster Lake Secluded Cottage Rental2BR, 1BA Channel Location

A fully winterized fun getaway for couples or families who love the water in summer or winter and the good times that go with it.

The cottage received an upgrade in 2008 that includes a new high-efficiency furnace that included central air-conditioning.

Webster Lake is a great lake for fishing bass and pan fish, or, if you're really adventurous, the 'Mighty Muskie'.

Boat and Pontoon rental is nearby.

There is a 24' dock if you have a boat of your own.

Amenities: Furnished with refrigerator, apartment size stove/oven, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, dishware and silverware. The cottage sleeps 9 with 1 queen,1 double/twin futon bunk bed and 2 fold-out couches. There's also a TV with local reception with DVD and VCR.

Just bring your bed linens, pillows, towels, food and beverages.

Activities: 'Things to do': Shops galore in North Webster and surrounding towns offer anything and everything from antiques and crafting to the obscure. Try the Amish experience in Shipshewana home of the largest weekly flea market in Indiana. Visit Nappanee, home of 'Amish Acres' where you can enjoy plays, wagon rides and authentic Amish meals. Nappanee as well as nearby Pierceton will provide you with the 'shop till you drop' syndrome if antiquing is your affliction.

this is the perfect place for a medium to large group (10 max.). 3 beds and lots of couch/floor space. appliances, air, and water work perfectly, and the house is secluded enough to have some privacy.

Would like to have been able to stay LONGER

Very nice place to be no matter what time of year. The unit was well taken car of and very clean. How ever the TV had very poor reception at best and the cd player was missing, these two things were no big deal as we spent most our time out on the water. Would like to go back and stay again some time. Thanks to the owners and care takers. L.C. and family

We enjoyed our stay. The place suited our purposes of a place to sleep during our family reunion. The sleeping accommodations weren't at their best. The sleeper sofas were not comfortable and the futon bunkbed was not intended for adult use. It did work well for the children. The queen bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. We also had wished it was equipped with wi-fi capabilities. The immediate neighbor next door was super helpful and kind. We did, however, had the unfortunate meeting with a rather drunk and belligerent neighbor down the road. Overall, our trip was lovely and would do this again in the future.

Nice and Relaxing!

My family had a very good time! The cottage is well maintained.(cute!) Really like the lake, not too big not too small. I personally slept better there than in my own bed! My girls enjoyed the FISHING very much! We have enough fish for a good Fish Fry! BLUEGILL! The people around are very friendly. Neighbors are very hospitable! I think we will visit AGAIN! For people that like t.v. it needs updated. Other than that Perfect vacation well needed!

fantastic cottage

This was our first experience renting a cottage, and it was great. It was everything the owners said it was and more. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to renting it again soon. We felt at home as soon as we walked into the cottage. We love fishing and this was the perfect place for us to stay. The dock right outside the door was great. The owners are very friendly and thoughtful. I would recommend this for anyone who likes to fish or for even a get away for the weekend.
