Wonderful snowbird retreat

My husband and I rented this condo sight unseen from Illinois. We stayed for the month of March and it exceeded all our expectations. The owner was very accomodating before we arrived, and the condo managers went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The condo suited us perfectly, small enough to manage easily but large enough to have family and friends visit during the month. The Dauphin Surf Club was quiet, well maintained, with friendly neighbors, mostly owners. We walked the beautiful, empty beach every day, biked the entire island, took day trips to Mobile, Ft. Morgan and Fairhope, gorged on wonderful fresh seafood and just relaxed. By the time we left, we really felt like locals. As new retirees, we really enjoyed this location for our first great adventure. We truly had the most excellent experience. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants a quiet, low key getaway.
